Dear ATS Member:

Many ATS Members do not have a travel insurance plan to offer travelers from the U.S.A. and Canada. Until now . . . . .

We developed a plan where the American Tourism Society is the official seller of the insurance plan, and tour operator members of ATS based anywhere in the world can offer the plan to all travelers who reside in the United States or Canada. We suggest you offer this plan at all times except when you're working with a North American tour operator who is an ATS Member and has their own travel insurance plan.

The plan is underwritten by Stonebridge Casualty Insurance Company, a member of the Aegon USA family of companies. Aegon USA is the 5th largest insurer in the United States; and their parent company, Aegon N.V., is the 7th largest in the world. The Plan Administrator is Trip Mate. Trip Mate/Aegon offers the most comprehensive Travel Protection products in the marketplace today.

If you work with travelers or through travel sellers, ATS Travel Protector gives each traveler exceptional value, and excellent travel insurance. Each plan comes with $100,000 Accidental Death Flight Insurance -- at No Cost!

Two plans are available: Basic and Comprehensive. The attractively priced Basic Plan provides all the medical expense and evacuation coverage you would want your travelers to have -- in the event of either a motorcoach or flight accident, for example. Benefits at a Glance

Offer either the Basic or Comprehensive Plan to everyone. All travelers in the group are required to purchase the same plan. Your User Account

You need a User Account in order to have login access to the insurance website, view the Net Rates, and create insurance bookings. To request a User Account, or to get your Password and User ID, please send an email to the Account Coordinator.

With low net rates YOU determine the selling price

If you are working with the traveler, you set the final insurance selling price -- and if working with a travel seller, you mark up the price to the seller, and the travel seller sets the final insurance selling price. See Appendix A below for details on how to make sure this insurance is used by the sellers of your travel product. All travelers will have the peace of mind that comes from buying a quality travel insurance plan. Benefits include Trip Cancellation/Interruption, protection for Financial Insolvency, Terrorism and Pre-Existing Medical Conditions. Your rates are very attractive; since these net rates are confidential, we do not publish them here on this website. It's a good idea after logging in (see the "Your User Account" section, above) to the insurance website to view the "Net Rate Table" under "Agent Tools" to get the current rates.

Offer ATS Travel Protector to Your Travel Sellers -- on your website

Including this insurance on your website is easy! Just follow these steps:

• On your website, provide the wording shown below in the box entitled "Travel Protection for Everyone Traveling with our Valued Travel Sellers".
• Mark up the Net Rates you pay for ATS Travel Protector to whatever selling price you want -- this is what you charge the Travel Seller for the insurance. We suggest a small mark up, but you can mark it up to whatever level works best for you.
• Tell your Travel Sellers the selling price they will pay you for ATS Travel Protector (this will include your mark up).
• Obtain a completed Traveler Manifest for each group from your Travel Sellers. Click here for a blank Traveler Manifest.
• Login to the insurance booking website and purchase the insurance online for each traveler using the information contained in the Traveler Manifest. You will receive an email from the Plan Administrator confirming the insurance purchase along with a copy of the Travel Insurance Certificate. Forward this confirmation email to each Travel Seller using the email address they provided to you on their Traveler Manifest. Important: each ATS Member pays the net rate online with a credit card no later than 15 days prior to the Scheduled Group Departure Date and you will need 10 or more travelers to complete the group.
  
• You will have included the insurance price on your invoice to the Travel Seller. Remember you may mark up the price you charge the Travel Seller to whatever amount you wish.
• To see what your Travel Sellers will see when they click the link for ATS Travel Protector, see Appendix B below.

ATS Members -- put this box on your website:

We encourage you to include a table showing the Net Rates you will be charging the Travel Seller. It's optional whether you include it or not. If you do, it should follow the format shown below -- just fill in the blanks before putting it on your website. If the net rates you are charged by the insurance company should ever change -- it's a good idea after logging in to the insurance website to view the "Net Rate Table" under "Agent Tools" to get the current rates. Be sure to update your rate table accordingly to take into account any price changes.
